  Shea D. Brainwaves is a multidisciplinary artist, songwriter, producer, and graphic designer turning lived experience into music, imagery, and stories that refuse to stay inside one genre.

Much of the catalogue began in places far more personal than a studio: journal pages, old memories, unresolved trauma, relationships, spiritual questions, dark humour, survival, and the strange contradictions that come with being human. More than 98 percent of the music connects directly to real experiences or observations, making the catalogue part songwriting portfolio, part emotional archive, and part ongoing attempt to turn difficult chapters into something useful.

Music has always been present, including years spent singing in choirs, but it has never been the only creative language. 

Visual art, graphic design, culinary work, and storytelling all remain threaded through the project. Songs are rarely treated as audio alone. 

They arrive with their own imagery, atmosphere, characters, colours, and emotional worlds.

The movement between electronic music, rock, hip-hop, country, pop, folk, cinematic production, and stranger spaces in between is deliberate. A vulnerable confession may need an acoustic room. Anger may need distorted guitars. 

Humour may demand something absurd and oversized. Grief may become cinematic, while hope might find its way onto a dance floor. The genre changes because life does.

  Emerging creative technology has helped bring these ideas into audible form when the right vocalist, instrumentalist, or collaborator was not yet available. It serves the writing and production rather than replacing the intention behind them.

The original recordings were also never meant to become cages. 

All The Tracks were created with future vocalists, musicians, DJs, remixers, live performers, and collaborators already somewhere in the horizon. Some may remain exactly as released. Others are waiting for another voice, another interpretation, or another life entirely.

  At its core, Shea D. Brainwaves is about turning journal pages, trauma, memory, humour, and lived experience into something that can move beyond the person who first carried it. The sound may keep changing, but the human thread remains.
